The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and non-profit training organization PsychArmor Institute are leading the charge against veteran suicide with a free online, suicide prevention training video titled “SAVE.”
Only a few years ago, stories appeared in the media about how tens of thousands of U.S. veterans were infected with hepatitis C and how the government couldn’t afford to treat them. That was then.
During Memorial Day weekend, more than 40 members of the Summit County community teamed up with the VSC honor fallen veterans by visiting local cemeteries and placing flags on their gravesites.
