Eligible benefits through the VA
There are many eligible services offered through the VA – The below list is not all inclusive.
Disability Compensation
Veterans who have disabilities, medical conditions, or injuries incurred or aggravated during active military service—no matter when or where they served—may be eligible to receive tax-free monthly benefits.

Health Care
Many Veterans may be eligible for VA health care. Enrollment in VA health care satisfies your Affordable Care Act health coverage requirement. Most Veterans qualify for cost-free health care services, although some Veterans must pay modest co-pays for health care or prescriptions.
Education and training
Most Veterans qualify for cost-free health care services, although some Veterans must pay modest copays for health care or prescriptions. If you have at least 90 days of aggregate active duty service after Sept. 10, 2001, and are still on active duty, or if you are an honorably discharged Veteran or were discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days, you may be eligible for this VA-administered program.
Non Service Connected Pension
Pension is a needs-based benefit for wartime Veterans with limited or no income who are age 65 or older or who have a permanent and total non-service-connected disability.
